This blog is, first and foremost, a travel blog, including how travel influences self discovery in all its interpretations.
I started this blog as an exercise of coping and recovery, having floundered as an expat, fledgling adult in London for 10 months before conceding to retreat home with tail between legs:
“Raising a pint to the moments that neither add to my CV nor contribute to my repertoire of essential life skills.”
The blog, at first, began as a guide to the places and spaces that accented–or rather, formed–my life abroad (where I dined, drank, slept and partied).
I’m now trying to fashion a richer palette of content for this space; it’s been two years since I moved back to America, and I haven’t much left its borders since. I’ve been able to really meditate on traveling and how it is so intrinsic to who I am as a person in this world, and I share my random musings and epiphanies with you (sorry!).
